Privacy Policy
PyChat is operated by The Code Services ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the PyChat app, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
The short version: we collect what's needed to run calls and payments, we never sell your data, and we never show your phone number to anyone you call.
What we collect

What we don't collect
- We don't record calls. Audio and video are not stored anywhere.
- We don't store card numbers. Payments go directly to Razorpay.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't read your contacts, photos or messages outside the app.
Phone numbers stay private
Calls route through our servers. The person you call never sees your number, and you never see theirs. There is no setting that changes this — it's how the system is built.
Who we share with
We share only what's necessary, and only with:
- Agora — carries the audio and video. They handle the media stream but do not store it.
- Razorpay — processes payments.
- Google Firebase — delivers push notifications.
- Amazon Web Services — hosts our servers and files, in the Mumbai region.
- Law enforcement — only when we receive a valid legal order.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Profile and messages — until you delete your account.
- Call and payment records — eight years, as Indian tax law requires.
- KYC documents — as long as the host account is active, plus the period required by law.
Your rights
You can see and edit your profile in the app at any time. You can delete your account from Settings, or at pychat.in/account-deletion. To ask what data we hold about you, or to correct something, write to support@pychat.in — we reply within thirty days.
Children
PyChat is for adults only. You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete such accounts as soon as we learn of them. See our child safety policy.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. KYC documents are stored with restricted access. Passwords are never stored in readable form. No system is perfect, but if a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll notify you in the app before it takes effect.
