Refund Policy
Last updated 3 September 2026
This explains when we refund and when we don't. We've tried to write it plainly rather than defensively.
Coins don't expire
Unused coins stay in your wallet indefinitely. There's usually no need for a refund — the balance is still yours.
When we refund automatically
- The call never connected. If the host doesn't answer, or the call fails before connecting, no coins are deducted. Nothing to refund.
- A payment was charged but coins weren't added. This is normally corrected within a few minutes. If it isn't, write to us and we'll fix it.
- You were charged twice for the same purchase. The duplicate is returned in full.
When we'll look at it case by case
- The call had serious technical problems — no audio, frozen video, repeated drops. Tell us the date and time and we'll check our logs. If our side was at fault, we refund the minutes.
- The host behaved unacceptably. Report it from the call summary screen. If we uphold the report, we refund the call.
- You want unused coins back. We don't have a blanket no. Write to us and explain — we'd rather sort it out than argue.
When we won't refund
- Coins already spent on a call that connected and worked
- Calls you ended early by choice
- Dissatisfaction with the conversation itself, where nothing improper occurred
- Accounts closed for breaking our terms
How to ask
Write to support@pychat.in with your registered number, the date and time of the call or purchase, and what went wrong. We reply within two working days.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within five to seven working days. The timing after that is your bank's, not ours.
Host earnings
If a user's call is refunded, the corresponding earning is reversed from the host's balance. Hosts are told when this happens and why.
